Certainly, Lovely's success has made its talented director, B Jaya, more popular. No less than Akkineni Nagarjuna himself said yesterday that he will be ready to work under her direction if she came up with a good story for him.
The actor said that he had been wanting to act in a film directed by a female filmmaker for long. He was speaking at the 100 days function of Lovely.
The actor's statement should be seen in the context of his desire to experiment. He has three releases in the coming months - Shirdi Sai, Damarukam and Love Story. If at all Jaya comes out with a story for Nag, Nag will have worked in yet another film for the class audience.
