Rajamouli not happy with arrests

IndiaGlitz [Tuesday, July 24, 2012]

The Anti-Piracy Video Cell, flouted by The A. P. Film Chamber of Commerce, has been on a mission to root out the scourge of piracy in Andhra Pradesh.  In this connection, the APVC today raided the CMS Commerce Junior College in Nizampet, where Eega was being screened for 300 girl students through a pirated copy.

SS Rajamouli, though a supporter of stringent action against pirates, has not approved of the arrests made after the raid.  The operator there, the manager and the warden, were arrested after the raid.  The director said that he is not happy with the arrests.

"We r not at all happy about this. We want to fight pirates, not students or colleges. We request the hostels/colleges not to indulge in these activities," he tweeted.
