Trust Ram Gopal Varma to make politically naive and intellectually poor statements. With scant regard and respect for Mahatma Gandhi and even someone of Anna Hazare's stature, he has made statements that could make even his most benevolent admirers become queasy.

"Since the Gandhi bhai way dint work for Anna bhai the Dawood bhai way might give better shots," he announces on Twitter. We do not know whether Anna had been boring for RGV, but ever since the anti-corruption crusader liquidated Team Anna, our super flops maker has thought of a film on him!

"I want to make a film on Anna gang. It is about a Gandhian politician, who gets vexed with his team and forms an underworld gang," he tweets.

RGV is doubtless indulging in flights of juvenile fancy. Thank God that his ideas more often than not remain on Twitter.
