Prateek-New Spirit, is a music video brought out by Prateek Naganatham, a 13-year-old singing talent.  Produced by Rudra Matsa Entertainment Private Limited, the album has come with a compelling message against the unacceptable practice of child labour.

The Zee Saregama runner-up in 2011, Prateek is familiar to many.  "With encouragement and blessings coming from Music Maestro- Shankar Mahadevan, he chose music as his weapon, and produced beautiful music video PRATEEK - New Spirit, hoping that rest of us will be part of his mission, in helping create opportunities to the children who are in need indeed. Prateek also has "Bala Gandharva", 'Ganakokila" titles under his kitty and has performed in more than 100 live shows, Orphan homes Old age homes in the past 3 years. He is a student of Indus World School, Hyderabad. He is also learning Guitar, Keyboard, and Drums along with Hindustani music at Shankar Mahadevan Academy.

"This heart touching music is composed by Mahesh Dheera, Soulful lyrics written by Kedarnath Parimi and Kishore Kumar is the Director of Photography," a press release from the makers says.

It adds, "The plan is to come up with 5 more songs related to different problems and challenges the children today or in the future would face if the problems are not addressed today like Global Warming, Wild Life, Pollution, Water etc. A full-fledged audio-video album in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam is being planned for a release on 14 November 2012. This would be again in association with Shankar Mahadevan Academy. Prateeks father Suresh Kumar also has a noble thought of starting a NGO on the Children's Day so as to cater to the needs of the deprived kids through this organization."
