LIB is Kammula's biggest release ever

Whatever may be said of Shekar Kammula's limited audience base, he is the finest filmmaker we have.  Had he been making films only a decade ago, he would not have got so much fame.  An upshot of the multiplex era is that there is an audience with a taste for cinema with a difference.

Not surprisingly, his market has grown film after film.  He is not unaware that his films are lapped up by not more than 35 lakh audience.  Yet, given the good market conditions and the increasing opportunities, Life Is Beautiful will now be released on more number of prints than any of his previous films.

Unlike Happy Days and Leader which seemed to appeal only to a section of audience, LIB has the advantage of attracting family audiences, much like Godavari.

LIB, which is currently in RR stage, is slated to be released on Sept 13.  Besides the many newcomers, Amala Nagarjuna and Shriya Saran are playing key roles.
