'NRI' is a film which tells the message that one need not leave the country in search of greener pastures because India now has very many opportunities for the talented. Directed and produced by Raghunandan Gudoor, the film stars Rohith and Shravya Reddy in the lead roles.

Music is by Anish Raj Deshmukh, which is slated to be released on Sept. 1.

"As someone who has worked in a foreign country for many years, I know the down side of it. There are some emotional problems, besides, that are experienced when one leaves his country in search of earning more," the director says.

Most of the part was shot in Hyderabad, while the remainder part was filmed in Australia. NRI is currently in post-production. Ahuthi Prasad, Hema, Shiva Reddy, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Fish Venkat are part of the cast.

Music is by Anish Raj Deshmukh. Lyrics are by Smt. Padmasri Srinivas.
