OMG Oh My God!' Director Used Television Godmen For Inspiration

All those who have seen the trailers of upcoming film 'OMG Oh My God!' are sure to have chuckled at seeing Mithun Chakraborty, Poonam Jhavar and Govind Namdeo playing the stereotypical godmen (or women, in Poonam's case).

However, what many might not know is that director Umesh Shukla actually made these actors watch spiritual channels to get a feel of how godmen talk and behave in real life.

Confirming the news, director Umesh Shukla said that he wanted actors Mithun, Poonam and Govind to observe the mannerisms of such godmen and spiritual talkers so that it could help them with their roles.

Starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal, 'OMG Oh My God!' is a satire on religious superstitions and rituals and this flick, which is produced by Grazing Goat Productions, Viacom 18 and S. Spice is slated to release on September 28, 2012.
