Mammootty teams with Salim

After a while with some insensitive roles, Megastar Mammootty is now after some quality characters in new films. The latest role for which he has signed on dotted lines is the one from internationally acclaimed film maker Salim Ahamed who's 'Adaminte Makan Abu' was applauded in many festivals. Mammootty will come up as a grocery shop owner in this movie which has been titled as 'Kunjananthante Katha'. Expected to start rolling by the end of the year, the movie will tell about a couple facing marital discord, but forced to live together for the sake of their children.

Salim Ahmed has also roped in Salim Kumar who earned a national award playing the role of Abu in 'Adaminte Makan Abu', to do a key role in this movie. He is now on the lookout for a heroine to justice to the heavy role that he has already written.

Madhu Ambat will handle the camera while Rasool pookkutty will be in charge of audio design. The shoot for  'Kunjananthante Katha' will start by the final month of 2012 at Palakkad.
