Probably because it is a Vikram-Anushka movie, and coming with the advantage of Jagapathi Babu's presence, UTV Motion Pictures is going for a mega release of Shiva Thandavam in Telugu as well.

To be released on Sep 28, this film will hit 900 screens in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam. "The film is simultaneously releasing in Telugu as Siva Thaandavam. In Kerala, the Tamil version itself will hit nearly 60 screens," say sources.

The promotional activities have already started and it is expected to gain momentum by next week. "Thaandavam will be the biggest ever release of Vikram so far," sources add.

Directed by A L Vijay, Thaandavam has Anushka Shetty, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai as the leading ladies. Music is by G V Prakash Kumar and this is his 25th film.
