We have yet another Tamil film dubbed into Telugu.  Vaamanan, starring Jai (Journey fame), Lakshmi Rai and Priya Anand (Leader fame), the film, whose audio was released recently (music by Yuvan Shankar Raja), is currently in the Censor stage.  It will be released very soon.

"The story revolves around Jai, who comes to the city with the aim of becoming a film actor.  As fate would have it, he becomes embroiled in a murder case.  Lakshmi Rai plays the role of a model, while Santhanam, as a cameraman, is hilarious throughout," producer S Rajesh says.

A CM-designate is murdered a day before his swearing-in.  The entire police force and the intelligence is at a loss to know the whereabouts of the murderer, who was captured by a camera during the crime.

The movie has been directed by Ahammad.  Raghu, Sampath Raj, Urvasi, Rohini and others are part of the cast.

Dubbing and DTS have been done.  Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja.  Cinematography is by Arvind Krishna.  Editing is by Muthyala Nani.  Dialogues are by Vijay.  Lyrics are by Gurucharan, Sahithya Sagar and Vijay Devara.
