VV Vinayak is known for making big-budgeted films with big stars. Does this mean that he is unwilling or incapable of making small-ticket films on shoestring budgets?
Actually speaking, Vinayak has always wanted to make low-budget movies. Some of his producers in the past agreed to it but once he starts the scripting, the producer comes and says, "It is a big opportunity that I have your dates. Let's make a big-ticket film." This makes VV give up his idea.
Vinayak seems to have two big wishes: remaking Dana Veera Sura Karna with NTR Jr. and directing Chiranjeevi's 150th film. While the first one will mean NTR and himself dedicating themselves for the project for 2 years, the latter is dependent on Chiranjeevi's choice. "If he gives a call, I am ready to start working on a script for his film", he says.
