Is Kochadaiyaan's Sankranthi release doubtful?

With each passing day, expectations and anxiety among Rajini fans are only getting increased as far as 'Kochadaiyaan' is concerned, one has to say.

First it was said the film would hit the screens in September. Then it was buzzed that the Superstar's forthcoming movie would be a Deepavali release.

And then, reports had it that the multicrore flick will see the light of the day on December 12, the birthday of the 'Thalaivar'. Now the latest is that Pongal would be the release day of 'Kochadaiyaan'.

"It is true that the film is getting delayed. But director Soundarya R Ashwin has some genuine excuses. She wants to deliver the film in international standards and hence the graphics and other post production works are taking time," sources close to the team say.
