All the Indians should be proud of a great actor like Amitabh Bachchan. For the first time, he played in a Malayalam film 'Kandahar'. In this film, Malayalam Super Star Mohan Lal also played a role and the film earned accolades from everyone there. ChVSN Babji and D Chakradhar, who had dubbed several top heroes films in Telugu is dubbing this film too in Telugu and is releasing it with the same title. Popular financier S Ratnamayya is presenting the film.

Speaking on the occasion, the producers say, 'This is a film where the Indian Super Star and Malayalam Super Star worked together for a south Indian language film. While Amitabh is playing a key role of a teacher named 'Loknath Sarma', while Mohan Lal portrayed the role of 'Major Mahadevan'. Ganesh Venkatraman, a popular artiste who played the villain in the recent release 'Dhamukaram' played the role of an army commando, while Major Ravi played another important role in this film besides directing the film.

Presently re-recording and mixing works are in progress for the Telugu version. We are planning to launch the audio of the film by the end of December and release the film as Sankranti gift.
