Energetic Star Ram is playing the hero in 'Ongole Gitta' directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar, presented by Bhogavalli Bapineedu and produced by BVSN Prasad on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra India Ltd. Kruti Karbanda is pairing up with Ram in this movie. Shooting of the film was complete and the post-production works are in brisk progress.

Speaking on the occasion, the producer says, 'We are planning to launch the audio of our movie in the third week of December. We are making efforts to release the film in January. The film is coming up as a good family entertainer and would attract all classes of audiences. Bhaskar, who had brought out films like 'Bommarillu and Parugu' is directing the film and he proved that he is an expert in bringing out good family and mass touch entertainers. The film would have all the commercial elements and would be quite energetic to suit Ram's image.'

Prakash Raj, Abhimanyu Singh, Dr Brahmanandam, Ahuti Prasad, Ajay, Raghubabu, Ramaprabha are in the cast. Music is by GV Prakash Kumar, camera is by Venkatesh, editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh, action is by Selva, while story, screenplay, dialogues and direction are by Bhaskar.
