The Telugu TV Industry Protection Committee (TTIPC) said that the telugu TV industry is in a very poor state due to the selfishness of some people.
" Some Channels are becoming the threat to our industry by presenting dubbing serials as they can show a half an hour serial for just 10 to 15 thousand rupees. Over 60 dubbing serials are being presented now and by this about 3600 telugu artists and technicians are losing their livelihood. The Telugu industry has been losing 48 lakhs per day, 13 crores every month and about 150 crores every year by these. We will protest against these threat to our language and culture. The meeting we have conducted on 21st of this month has been a big success. Dasari Narayanarao and Mandali Buddha prasad have attended as the chief guests to it. ETV has responded to it positively at first. We will conduct a meeting on 5th march with all the cultural, Language and Voluntary organisations that have been supporting us. If the remaining channels also not respond positively to our requests we will make the protests even bigger and show the strength of our Telugu industry", they said.
