Apoorva Lakhia, the director of Ram Charan's upcoming Bollywood film,'Zanjeer', said that Real Star Srihari has joined the movie team to play the Sherkhan role in the Telugu version.

" Srihari sir joins the Zanjeer team to play Sherkhan in the Telugu version. We have shot two scenes with him. What an amazing actor he is ", said the director. Srihari has recently replaced Sonusood in the movie, as Sonusood had been injured in a CCL match and needs some bed rest.

The film, which is going to be Ram Charan's Bollywood debut, has Priyanka Chopra in the female lead.The film is the remake of Amitabh Bacchan's 'Zanjeer' released in 1973.

Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Mahi Gill, Atul Kulkarni etc play the key roles. Apporva Lakhia has also been the producer of this film. The film is set to be released on May 10th tentatively. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music for this film.
