The first look trailer of Ram Gopal Varma's 'Satya 2' has been released of late. Starring newcomer Sharwanand, the film is almost nearing its completion and it will be a bilingual project; being made in Hindi and Telugu...

The film is the sequel of 1998's well-acclaimed underworld thriller 'Satya' - that feature JD Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpayee and Shefali Shah.

The story of 'Satya 2'revolves around a young man who is set out to reinvent the ruling laws of Mumbai's mafia dons namely Arun Gawli, Chota Rajan, Dawood Ibrahim, Chota Shakeel and Abu Salem.

Reflecting the typical RGV's dark and gritty style, the trailer tries to convey that although Mumbai has managed to curb the powers of underworld in current age, the spirit of underworld is not dead; instead it works in different manner.

The music of the film is by Vikram Biswas while Vikash Saraf has handled the cinematography. Bannered under Mammooth Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd., 'Satya 2' is expected to hit the screens by this year end.
