As the Indian film industry has completed 100 years on May 3rd, the central government has released stamps in the names of some people who have contributed to the movies.
South Film chamber president C.Kalyan has said in a press meet in film chamber that, the stamps have been released in the names of legends S.V.Rangarao, Allu Ramalingaiah and Bhanumathi.
" We have also suggested other names which include Saluru Rajeswara Rao and Raghupathi Venkaiah. The three stamps will be revealed in June at a function in the presence of their family members", C.Kalyan said.
Film chamber president Thammareddi Bharadwaja, producer council president Burugupalli Sivarama Krishna, Allu Aravind, MAA President Muralimohan etc attended the press meet.
They expressed their joy at three stamps being released in Telugu and thanked the central government.
The 100 years celebrations will be done on July 12, 13 and 14 in Chennai.
