Independence Day, coupled with a long weekend, reinforced by ambiguity in big film releases had a number of small and otherwise insignificant films released. As expected, none got a thunderous opening but shared the tiny opening footfall with the others. So, the makers are obviously in a hurry to arrange for pressmeets and call it a 'Success Meet'.
In a span of two days within 24 hours of the movie release, all the four films have called the media for a success meet and went on to announce their celebrations of Box Office hit. 'Adda', 'Dalam', '1000 Abaddhalu' and 'Jagadguru Adi Shankaracharya'... all the film units have declared their products a hit with the audience. With the success meets becoming an integral part of promotion drive, not just the audience, but even the media is confused about which film is a genuine success and which is a fake. To know the genuine BO results, one needs to wait till the Monday noon show. So, let's wait and see...
