Looks like this is the season of writers turning directors. Koratala Siva, JK Bharavi, BVS Ravi Kumar and Bobby have already turned directors while Kona Venkat and Vakkantham Vamsi are on the lookout. While it's a good sign for the films since we can expect strong scripts, on the other hand it also means that the 'Directing Skill' is taking a back seat.
Now, JS Rao, who wrote the dialogues for the NTR starrer 'Samba' directed by VV Vinayak is also taking a plunge into direction with 'Nenu Naa Friends'. The film will employ all new talent and happens in a campus backdrop with a fresh feel, as fresh as 'Happy days'. The director said the movie will go on sets soon and the Muhurtam will be a grand affair and details will be announced soon.
