Speaking in an event marking Late actor Allu Rama Lingaiah's birthday and felicitation of senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao with Allu Rama Lingaiah National Award organized by Saripalli Kondala Rao in Hyderabad, the Minister, who was also the son in law of the ace actor opined so.
Chiranjeevi added 'Allu was not just a great actor but an incredibly professional one too. The day his son died, he finished shooting his part in a film and only then went to see his son off. An altruist, he was a philosophical disciple to Rama Krishna Parama Hamsa. I got inspired by him in so many occasions and I am happy today that the award is presented to another actor of the same stature and integrity'.
Minister Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy said 'Cinema can wipe off evil from the society and it should work in that direction.
