'Muni' Platinum Disc Function

Monday, March 26, 2007

Directed by Raghava Lawrence and produced by Manyam Ramesh on the banner of Manyam Entertainments with Lawrence himself playing the hero and Vedika as female lead was released recently and was proved a successful film.

More than the film, it was the audio which had attracted several youth. Ramani Bharadwaja gave melodious tunes for this film.

To share the happiness of the success of the film and the audio, the film unit had celebrated the Platinum Disc function of the film at Shanti Theatre in Vijayawada recently.

MAA president K Nagababu attended the programme as chief guest and distributed the Platinum Disc shields to the unit members including artistes and technicians.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagababu says, 'I am complimenting Lawrence who rose to the level of a big director, though he started his life in film industry as a small dancer in a group. From an ordinary dancer, he grew up as the No. 1 choreographer and then turned a director and after that a hero. At the same time, he is achieving successive successes in all his endeavours. I wish Lawrence would work with top stars of the film industry. I also congratulate all the artistes who worked in the 'Muni' film.'

Later Lawrence says, 'The audiences had made the films 'Mass and Style' under my direction as very big hits. Now they are welcoming 'Muni' with the same spirit. I thank one and all who made the film a big hit. I also with that the audiences would continue to make my future projects also good hits.'

Vedika says, 'I thank Lawrence master and producer Charan for giving me an opportunity to play heroine in this film. I also thank the audiences for making the film a hit.'

Charan, the producer of the Tamil version of 'Muni' and music director Ramani Bharadwaja also attended the programme.
