An honorary statue to Late Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu, the Father of Telugu Cinema was inaugurated on 14th March at Film Nagar Cultural Center. Recipients of Raghupathi Venkaiah award DVS Raju, VB Rajendra Prasad, Rama Naidu, Tammareddy Krishna Murthy, Smt. Krishna Veni, V.Madhusudhana Rao and Prathap on behalf of KanthaRao along with producer Y. Harikrishna, KC Shekhar Babu, KS RamaRao, Tilak were present during the occasion. DVS Raju, Rama Naidu, Tammareddy KrishnaMurthy addressed the gathering. KS RamaRao presided over the event and told that the present statue will be placed in Film Nagar Cultural Centre. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
