It was a month known in southern parts of the country as Aadhi. So it was doubly appropriate that a movie named Aadhi Lakshmi was released yesterday.
 
The Srikanth-Vadde Naveen starrer Aadhi Lakshmi was launched at Rama Naidu studios yesterday morning.
 
Chiranjeevi sounded the clapboard on the lead duo, D Ramanaidu switched on the camera and K Raghavendra Rao directed the first shot.
 
Sridevi is playing the heroine. R V Suresh directs this sentimental love story. Another Suresh is producing the movie.
 
Srikanth who just recently had three releases was confident of another family entertainer.
 
It is not a typical role for him. As he himself says: ‘It will a different one with lot of rough edges to it’. Vadde Naveen was happy that he had earlier worked with R V Suresh (when he was Suresh Verma) in Manasichi Choodu.
 
Naveen plays an advocate in the flick. Chakri scores the music. The film will be a Deepavali release. Regular shooting begins today.
