Dil Raju, who achieved hat trick with 'Dil', 'Bunny' and 'Bhadra’, is on way to attain second hat trick. His latest flick 'Bommarillu' directed by debutant Bhaskar, with dream boy Siddhartha and lovely girl Genelia in the lead was proved a massive hit. The film which had completed 50 days by September 27 in all the centres where it had hit the screen and is running towards 100 days.
To mark the occasion, the film's unit had celebrated the 50-days function at Shanti theatre on a grand scale. Hero Siddhartha, producer 'Dil' Raju, director Bhaskar and music director Devisri Prasad participated in the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Siddhartha says, 'We, the entire film unit, went on a victory rally to Nizam area. Everywhere, people arranged a grand welcome to all of us. I thank producer Raju and director Bhaskar for giving such a massive hit. Wherever we go, people keep asking where Genelia was. Though I asked her to come, she could not because she was otherwise busy. But she conveyed her thanks to every one of them. Moreover, the song – 'Apudo Ipudo Epudo…' has become a big asset for the film and I never dreamt that Devisri Prasad would give me such a chance to sing a song in a film. I thank him once again in this regard.' Dil Raju says, 'From the day one of the film's release, the collections were going on at a steady pace. This film will remain an industry hit. Even the press also helped us a lot, as all the reviews in newspapers, magazines and websites gave good ratings in a never before manner and helped in making the film further hit. We thank all the journalist friends who cooperated with us in promoting the film.' |
