Mahesh Babu rewrote all the records of the 75-year-old Telugu film industry history with his sensational hit of 'Pokiri'. For the first time in the Telugu film history, the audio of 'Sainikudu' was released simultaneously across the world on the Diwali day.
The main function was held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad on October 21. Super Star Krishna unveiled the audio and handed over the first audio cassette to mega director K Raghavendra Rao. Next, Puri Jagannath launched the audio CD and gave it to Allu Aravind.
Speaking on the occasion, Krishna says, 'Vyjayanti Movies always promote good music and several of their films were musical hits. We wish 'Sainikudu' would maintain the tradition. The trade and industry of Telugu films could be said to have expanded with the simultaneous release of the Sainikudu audio across the world.' Vijayanirmala, who also graced occasion, claimed that she had predicted the 'Pokiri' would run for 200 days and it was proved true. She wished the Sainikudu also a big success.
Allu Aravind says, 'I felt very much surprised after watching the stills of the movie in some film magazines. For the first time, I had got a feeling that I should watch the movie immediately after its release.' The 'Sainikudu' audio was also released at the same time at Sydney, Detroit, Dubai, San Francisco and Los Angeles. A video conferencing was arranged at the launch of the audio and the 'Sainikudu' unit cheered up the invitees to the audio release functions abroad. Harris Jayaraj provided tunes to all the songs in the film. |
