'Samanyudu' directed by Ravi C Kumar and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movies with Jagapatibabu, Kamna Jethmalani in the lead was released recently and was proved a big hit. To mark the occasion, the film unit had organised a success meet. Earlier, former Union minister and BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya, Police Commissioner Gopinatha Reddy and others watched the movie at a special screening in Prasad Labs.

Later, the 75th birthday celebrations of VB Rajendra Prasad was organised at Film Nagar Cultural Club. A press meet was held later in which Jagapatibabu, Saikumar, PJ Sharma Venkat, Achireddy and others participated. Jagapatibabu says, 'This film was made with real life incidents in the society. We are very happy and thankful to one and all who helped for making the film so big hit. Especially, I extend birthday wishes to my father on this day.'

Hero Saikumar says, 'While all the films in which I acted are on one half, and my character in this film is the other half. This is one of the memorable characters in my film career. I thank the producer and director for giving me such a good opportunity and character.'

PJ Sharma says, 'This film would make each and every politician to rethink about their life. At least after watching this film, all the politicians should shun their corrupt practices and work honestly.' VB Rajendra Prasad says, 'I am not just feeling happy just because Jagapatibabu is the hero in this film and became a success. But I am really happily for my son doing such a good film.'
