'Samanyudu' directed by Ravi C Kumar and produced by Venkat of 'Hangama'-fame on the banner of RR Movies with Achireddy as presenter and with Jagapatibabu and Kamna Jethmalani in the lead was released recently and is successfully running with good crowds. Vandemataram Srinivas gave melodious tunes to the film and the audio was also proved a big hit.

To celebrate the record sales of audio, the platinum disc function of the film was held in Hyderabad amidst several prominent film personalities. SV Krishna Reddy was the chief guest at the function.

Speaking on the occasion, Jagapatibabu says, 'I had to wait for a long time for a good success. But I am very happy that the audiences gave me a hit in the form of 'Samanyudu'. I thank the audiences for giving me such a big hit.'

Presenter Achireddy says, 'The taste of success in this film is similar to the ones in 'Gayam', 'Antahpuram' and 'Subha Lagnam' together.'

Vandemataram Srinivas and Ravi C Kumar also attended the programme.
