'Sainikudu' directed by Gunasekhar and produced by C Aswinidutt on the banner of Vyjayanti Movies with Maheshbabu and Trisha in the lead is all set for release on November 30 with 270 prints. For the first time, the Digital Intermediate (DI) technology is being used for this film. To mark the occasion, the producer organised a press briefing to explain the speciality of the new technology. Producer C Aswinidutt, director Gunasekhar, cinematographer Balasubrahmanyam, Sprit proprietor Rana Daggubati and the German colorist Utsi participated in the briefing.

Producer Aswinidutt says, 'This is a prestigious movie for me. It is getting released with 270 prints on November 30. We have used DI technology to this film for the first time in the Indian film industry's history. We have brought a German colorist Utsi for the purpose. Graphics would come as interludes in 'Sainikudu' and give a good feel to the audiences.

Director Gunasekhar says, 'This DI was very useful in showing a scene where floods hit a village early in the morning. The film came out extremely well. The use of DI technology is new to the Indian film industry and this technology would give a novel feel to the audiences.'

German colorist Utsi says, 'I worked for three weeks for this 'Sainikudu' film. The narration is extremely good. I am very sure that it would attract the audiences.'

Executive producer Saibaba says, 'After the success of 'Indra', the audio of 'Sainikudu' was proved a big hit on our banner. We are releasing the film with 270 prints on November 30 simultaneously in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Delhi, Mumbai, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, besides in our own Andhra Pradesh.'
