Directed by P Vasu and produced by Vakada Appa Rao on the banner of Sri Lalitha Kalanjali Productions with Balakrishna, Sneha and Meera Jasmine in the lead, ‘Maharathi’, is getting ready as a family entertainer. Kannada music director Gurukiran gave melodious tunes to all the songs, in his debut attempt.

The audio was released through Aditya Music recently and remained a chart buster. To mark the high sales of the audio, the Double Platinum Disc function was held by the unit at Hotel Holiday Inn on a grand scale.

Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna, K Raghavendra Rao, D Ramanaidu, P Vasu, Gurukiran and Sneha attended the programme. Earlier, the songs were screened.

The Double Platinum Discs were presented to the unit members through K Raghavendra Rao and Dr D Ramanaidu.

Speaking on the occasion, Balakrishna says, ‘The film was completed two months ago. We have taken utmost care in all the post-production formalities and ready to release the film. All the songs in the movie were proved popular and the audio became a super-hit. These celebrations once again prove this fact. The songs are not only audible but would remain a feast for the eyes of viewers.

Noted producer RB Choudary also participated in the programme.
