The Hexa Platinum Disc function of ‘Yogi’ being directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Kadapa Mayor Ravindranath Reddy on the banner of Eswari Films with Prabhas in the lead, was held on the premises of Ramappa Temple in Warangal district on a grand scale.

The function was held to mark the sale of six lakh audiocassettes within 12 days of the release of the audio into the market.

State Major Irrigation Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah attended the programme as chief guest and cut the cake to mark the launch of the function. The first piece of the cake was given to the film hero Prabhas.

Producer Ravindranath Reddy says, ‘Almost all the films that were shot in Warangal were proved big hits.’

Choreographer Raju Sundaram, VV Vinayak’s father Krishna Rao and others participated in the function.

Director VV Vinayak says, ‘This film had broke the records of ‘Okkadu’ which sold six lakh audiocassettes in such a short span.’ Later, Minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah presented the shields and mementoes to the members of the unit.
