The Hexa Platinum Disc function of 'Raakhee' directed by Creative Director Krishnavamsi, presented by S Gopal Reddy and produced by Dr KL Narayana on the banner of Sri Durga Arts with Young Tiger NTR, Ileana and Charmme in the lead was released on December 22 with 270 prints and proved a big hit.

Especially the audio of the film for which Devisri Prasad gave tunes had created ripples among the music lovers. So far, over 6 lakh audiocassettes of the film were sold, which prompted the producers to organize Hexa Platinum Disc function.

Union Minister and popular director Dasari Narayana Rao attended the function as chief guest.

He says, 'The performance of NTR is a big asset for the film. At the same time, the excellent taking by Krishnavamsi had helped for the victory of the film. The director was able to mould the brother-sister sentiment in an excellent way.'

The artistes and technicians of the film had received shields through Dasari Narayana Rao.
