Directed by Chandra Siddharth and produced by Dr D Ramanaidu on the banner of Suresh Productions, 'Madhumasam' with Sumanth, Sneha and Parvathi Melton in the lead was released recently and is running successfully with hit talk.

The film is about to complete 50 days soon.

To mark the occasion, Vamsi Film Society had awarded 'Ugadi Puraskars' to the film unit at Thyagaraya Gana Sabha in Hyderabad on Monday.

State Education Minister Nedurumalli Rajyalakshmi says, 'The title 'Madhumasam' in itself is quite melodious to listen and enthralls the soul. Dr D Ramanaidu, not only succeeded in reflecting the Telugu culture in the film, but also glorified it through the film's title. I strongly believe that it is very apt to hand over Ugadi Puraskars to the film unit.'

The film unit also reciprocated the award and thanked the Vamsi Film Society for selecting their film and the unit for awarding the Ugadi Puraskars.

The unit also thanked Minister Rajyalakshmi for gracing the function.
