'Bahumati' is the title confirmed for the film directed by SV Krishna Reddy and produced by Venkat on the banner of RR Movies with Venu, Sangeetha and Shabana Khan in the lead.

Director SV Krishna Reddy chose three titles for the film and gave a choice to the audiences to select one among them. The contest was held through MAA TV and Big FM channel.

Indiaglitz.com reporter Srinivas was one among those who proposed 'Bahumati' as the title and incidentally it was chosen as the title.

Speaking on the occasion, director SV Krishna Reddy says, 'We have given the choice of selecting the title for a film directed by me to the audiences. We have received thousands of SMSs from the audiences. Of them 80 per cent chose 'Bahumati' and hence we confirmed it as the title. We organized a lucky dip to select 20 people to distribute gifts. Of them the first winner was Mr Srinivas, reporter of the Indiaglitz.com with mobile No. 9948028416. We thank the audiences for extending a big cooperation in selecting the title and wish the same cooperation would continue in making the film a big hit.'
