The 100-days celebrations of a low-budget, ladies oriented film 'Aadivaram Aadavallaku Selavu' directed by Raja Vannemreddy and produced by Leelarani were celebrated on a grand scale.
Sahaja Nati Jayasudha lighted the traditional lamp and inaugurated the function.
Later, she handed over the memento to the story writer of the film, Union minister and director Darsaka Ratna Dr Dasari Narayana Rao. Dasari attended the function as the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, he says, 'The running of film industry depends upon the small budget films. It would be very risky for a producer who makes a film with crores of rupees by keeping top stars. Because, the success of the film would help some families, but the failure of such films would throw more number of families on the roads. This film was produced with a mere Rs 96 lakhs but collected over Rs 4 crores. There are several innovative writers and directors. All of them should come with furthermore good ideas.'
Later the members of the film unit, distributors and exhibitors were presented with mementoes by Dr D Ramanaidu, K Raghavendra Rao, Vadde Ramesh, K Devivara Prasad, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Kaikala Nageswara Rao, Dr KL Narayana, Achanta Gopinath, Rojaramani, Raja, Tammareddy Bharadwaja, R Narayana Murthy and Relangi Narasimha Rao. |
