A film being directed by Vara Mullapudi presented by SS Rajamouli on the banner of Markwell Entertainment with 'Allari' Naresh, Rajiv Kanakala, Preeti Jhangiani and Smitha in the lead was launched on June 21.

Hero NTR gave the clap, while director VV Vinayak switched on the camera for the muhurat shot under the honorary direction of K Raghavendra Rao. Director Vara Mullapudi received the script from SS Rajamouli and Surender Reddy.

Later addressing a press briefing, presenter of the film Rajamouli says, 'We have an acquaintance with Bujji (Vara) when he was preparing advertisements for AP Electronic Media. He became a good friend for Chandu and me. I felt very excited when I am listening to the story narrated by Bujji. Naresh and Rajiv have got very good characters which had ample scope for performance. It would be a pucca commercial film with the elements of suspense and sentiment. Regular shooting of the film would begin on July 6. We will continue the shooting for four days and shift to Vizag on July 10 to continue shooting.'

Director Vara Mullapudi says, 'Chandu (Yeleti Chandrasekhar) scripted the screenplay. There are four songs in the movie.'

Naresh, Rajiv, music director Vijay Kurakula, dialogue writer Harshavardhan also spoke.
