The shooting of 'Gorintaku' directed by VR Pratap, presented by RB Choudary and produced by NV Prasad and Paras Jain on the banner of Mega Super Good Films with Dr Rajasekhar and Arthi Agarwal in the lead and Meera Jasmine in a key role, was launched at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad recently.

Dr D Ramanaidu gave the clap, while RB Suresh Choudary, elder son of RB Choudary, switched on the camera for the muhurat shot.

Later addressing a press briefing, music director SA Rajkumar says, 'This is my 25th film on this banner. I thank the producers for giving these many opportunities to score music and this is my silver jubilee movie on the banner. Myself and Pratap worked together for 'Nuvvu Vastavani' on the same banner and it was a blockbuster. I am sure that the film would earn me a very good name.'

Director Pratap says, 'This is my second film on this banner. We are remaking a successful Kannada film 'Anna Thangi' in Telugu. While Dr Rajasekhar was the hero, Arthi Agarwal is the heroine and Meera Jasmine is playing the sister of Rajasekhar. The film explains how a brother and sister should be. The first schedule would begin from July 15 and would continue till the end of the month. The second schedule is planned from August 10.'
