Directed by Prabhudeva and produced on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits, 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' with Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi and Karishma Kotak in the lead was released on July 27.

People were seen near the theatres right from early in the morning. The affection of the fans new no bounds and they fired the crackers and tied banners, besides dancing to the tunes of the film with local band troupes.

Those who failed to secure for the morning did not relent and continued to stay in the queue lines for the noon show.

When asked what about their lunch, they say, 'Watching of Mega Star's movie in itself is a sumptuous meal.'

Though this is not something surprising, it is just an example for their affection. Another surprising feature is that, the women were also seen in the queues on par with the men.

This situation could be noticed in almost all the theatres including Prasad's Multiplex, Gokul, Sudarshan, Satyam, Lakshmikala and Sivaparvathi.

The total length of the film is 4,439.63 metres and in usual parlance it is 14 reels.
