Directed by SS Rajamouli, presented by Smt Rama Rajamouli and produced by Cherry and Urmila Gunnam on the banner of Viswamitra Creations with NTR, Priyamani and Mamata Mohandas in the lead, the heavy budget socio-fantasy film 'Yamadonga' was released amidst high expectations.

MM Keeravani scored music for the flick. Padma Shri, Dr M Mohanbabu played the prestigious role of Yamadharma Raju, while senior actress Khushboo played opposite him as his wife and Brahmanandam played the role of Chitragupta in this movie.

The film had hit the screen on August 15, the Independence Day.
