It is well aware that the audio of 'Yamadonga' was a massive hit. There are nine songs in the audio album and MM Keeravani scored tunes.

Another speciality is that one song of the late NTR's blockbuster 'Yamagola' — 'Olammee Tikka Regindaa…' — was remixed for the film, which was tuned by the music director, the late Chakravarthy.

While five songs including 'Rabbaru Gaajulu, Nunugu Meesalodu, Nachore Nachore, Nuvvu Muttukunte and Young Yama' were scripted by young lyricist Ananta Shriram, Jonnavittula penned four other songs including the remix 'Olammee Tikka Reginda, Srikaraakaarunda, Chala Challagaa Gaali and Bambham Chumbanala'.

These songs were rendered by Daler Mehendi, Keeravani, Mano, KG Ranjit, Shankar Mahadevan, Sunitha, Deepu, Ganga, Pravani besides the hero NTR and heroine Mamata Mohandas.

One more speciality is that Daler Mehendi had rendered a song for a south Indian film for the first time for this movie and NTR gave his voice for a song and proved that there is also a singer in him.
