The audio of 'Athidhi' directed by Surender Reddy, presented by noted film production unit UTV, and produced by G Rameshbabu on the banner of Krishna Productions Pvt Ltd (KPPL) with Prince Maheshbabu and Amritha Rao in the lead, was launched at a simple function held at a private hotel in Hyderabad on September 27.

Manisharma scored music for the movie. Super Star Krishna formally launched the audio and handed over the first cassette to director and actress Vijayanirmala. Later, the audio CDs were also unveiled by Krishna himself and handed over the first piece to UTV director Sunil Wadhwani.

Later, lyricist Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry expressed his opinion on the director and hero. He says, 'It is a novel, good commercial cinema. I am confident it would be a definite hit.'

Director Surender Reddy says, 'I troubled Manisharma very much for extracting good tunes. Lyricists Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry, Bhaskarabhatla Ravikumar, Chandrabose, Viswa scripted good lyrics. I thank producer Rameshbabu, who is a man of no compromise.'

Later, Smt Vijayanirmala says, 'The UTV is entering the Telugu film industry for the first time with 'Athidhi' film. Director Surender Reddy has a bright future. Maheshbabu looked more handsome in this movie. I wish the film a big hit.'

Super Star Krishna says, 'I am very happy that the UTV had entered into the Telugu Film Industry, that too with a film from our banner like 'Athidhi' in a corporate style. It is rare that these many emotions could be immersed in a single story. There are different emotions in this movie. I am confident that 'Athidhi' would rewrite the records of 'Pokiri'.'
