Dassara was the launch day for director EVV Satyanarayana’s latest venture with his son. Though Bommana Brothers and Chandana Sisters sounds more like a promo for a couple of leading stores, it is the title of the film being produced under the Siri Cinema Banner by Ammiraju Kanumilli.

But EVV will not be directing his son in this film. Instead, he will be merely presenting the film while Srinivas Reddy will be directing it.

The film was formally launched at EVV’s office with his older Rajesh giving the clap. Dr K L Narayana too was present to switch on the camera.

Naresh thanked the producers and said that he was looking forward to work under Srinivas Reddy.

The director revealed that he was thrilled to be directing EVV’s project, as he was a dedicated disciple of his.

Producer Ammiraju, Krishna Bhagawan and Jayaprakash Reddy too were present at the opening do.

Farzana will play the lead opposite Naresh and the film will be shot in November-December. It will be released in January 2008.
