Sri Mitra Group is making their entry into the Telugu film industry with Srikant’s latest film titled Nagaram. The party to announce the name was held in the city. A fashion show by Sahil Gulati was specially organized for the launch. Nagaram is being made under the Mac Media and Blue Sky Entertainment banners by Kishore Babu and Anji Babu. M V Chowdhary will be presenting the film. The film’s music is by Chakri. CC Srinivas will be directing the film.

Guests included Jagapati Babu, Kaveri Jha, actors Arjun and Rajasekhar; directors S S Rajamouli, S V Krishna Reddy, Krishna Vamsi, Boyapati Srinu, B Gopal; Murali Mohan; music director Devisri Prasad among others.

S S Rajamouli said he was happy that Srikant was trying out different roles in contrast to his earlier films. He also said it was nice to see senior heroes like Jagapati Babu for being game to do special roles in films.

Rajasekhar congratulated the team and Kaveri Jha said she was happy about getting the film. Srikant thanked Jagapati Babu for accepting the special role.

M V Chowdhary said he was happy about the way Nagaram was progressing and informed that the film’s original story was a Tamil story which has been modified to suit the Telugu audience’s tastes.
