The film is from the makers of Hyderabad Nawabs and there have been a lot of expectations given the Hyderabadi lingo such films offer. The film appealed to some sections of the audience here and abroad and so the makers, Utopia Entertainers, have once again tried to make a film in association with Touchstone Productions.

The film basically is a laugh riot and it revolves around Gullu, a local don. The backdrop is our own city and Fun aur Masti is a comedy of errors. Gullu falls in love with Rosy, who is the sister of David. Rosy is afraid to tell Gullu and her brother about her love for Joseph who wants to be a successful entrepreneur. Then of course, there is Hussain, who thinks of himself as an M F Hussain in the making. There are instances that will make the audiences roll over, providing they enjoy the Hyderabad style comedy. Surprisingly, there is an item number by Mumaith Khan in the film too!

The cast includes Aziz Naser, Adnan Sajid Khan, RK, Payal Sarcar among others. It has been directed by Sekhar Surya. Music is by Adil Hussain, Satish K and the playback has been given by the likes of Sunidhi Chauhan.
