Director Bapu was conspicuous by his absence at the music launch function of 'Sundarakanda' on Saturday evening at the Ramanaidu Studios.

So was the case with the film’s music director Vidyasagar. But Dr D Ramanaidu more than made up for his presence and so did VV Vinayak, who was the other chief guest present.

Together they released the first audio cassette and CD to the film’s financers. The lead pair Naresh and Charmme was present too. Ramanaidu spoke of how much he loved the posters of the film.

Charmme said the film made her realize the importance of her parents and thanked Bapu for giving her the opportunity in his film.

Naresh narrated how Bapu liked his action in 'Kitakitalu' which got him the role.
