Pourudu has done very well, surpassing the expectations that one had from it. The platinum disc function was held recently in Hyderabad.

A beaming Kajal Agarwal, Sumanth and director Raaj Aditya were present on the occasion along with D Supriya who has produced the film.

Sumanth said that this Sankranti was a real Sankranti for his family members as his film has done exceptionally well. The rest of the cast and crew too thanked the audience and critics for supporting their film.
