'Kalidasu' is surging ahead at a good pace. Made under the banner of Annapurna Studios banner this film is produced by Sri Nag Corporation.

'Kalidasu' has Sushanth and Tamanna playing the lead roles. This film has Sushanth, the grandson of Akkineni Nageswara Rao and nephew of Akkineni Nagarjuna, playing the dubutant hero.

ANR when he spoke to the press said that his grandson has got his debut offer with good oppurtunities. The proud grand dad also wanted his grand son to make a place for himself in the Telugu film industry with his hard work and good performance. ANR also felt that his Sushanth will get close to the audience with his first film itself.

While Nagarjuna spoke to the news men he was all praise for his nephew. Speaking about the hero of this film he said Susanth loved mass films since his childhood. The actor also hoped that Susanth will carry forward the torch of fame lite by ANR.

The producers of this film are Chintalapudi Srinivasa Rao and A.Naga Suseela as well as the director G.Ravi Charan Reddy were among the guests present during the function.
