After 'Kokki' and 'Lee', director Prabhu Solomon is gearing up for the release of '16 Days'.
Produced by Cosmos Entertainment, the movie marks the re-entry of Charmi in Tamil Cinema. She plays the heroine opposite newcomer Aravindhan. Charmi has been very successful in Telugu films making it big in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing media persons, Solomon, said, '16 Days' will be an unusual film. It definitely is no run-of-the-mill-stuff with the hero and heroine running around trees in the name of romancing. It is about the tale of friends, who help each other in tough situations.'
On her part, Charmi said, ' all credit should go to Prabhu Solomon. He convinced me to do the film. I play a bubbly young girl oozing with positive energy in the film. I have emotions and comedy to perform and was indeed a great experience to shoot for the film'.
Thanking the producers, directors and his co-stars, debutant Aravindan said, ' everyone made me feel at ease. I did what the director wanted me to do. 'Laddam' will be a path-breaking film'.
Dharan has scored the music for the movie, which is produced by J P Kumar and D Y Chowdary. Sukumar handles the camera.
