'Kotha Bangaru Lokam' is produced by Dil Raju of 'Sri Venkateswara Creations' and is directed by Srikanth. Varun Sandesh of Happy Days fame is the hero and Swetha Prasad is debuting as heroine.
The audio of the film will be released in the first week of August. As for the movie itself, about ninety percent of shooting has been completed. August end would witness the release of the film.
The filmmakers organized a press-meet at the Vignan Junior College campus, Kondapur, Hyderabad.
Speaking to the audiences, producer Dil Raju said that he had this project on mind for about 4years, and now had the right opportunity to make it happen, and KBL has come on to the floors in 2008. Like all his earlier films this is also a story-based narration, and will sure be successful like his other ventures.
Talking about the film, he said it's beautiful, fresh and adorned with young and new artists – most of them teenagers from pre-graduation. He thanked the parents of the young artists for allowing them to be part of the movie. He also thanked the college management for permitting the shooting. He also thanked Vasu Varma (director debuting with Nag Chaitany's forth coming film) for the title.
Mickey J. Mayer the music director thanked the producer for giving him an opportunity with this film. He said there are in all six songs, and the tunes he composed are close to his heart.
Varun Sandesh and Swetha Prasad expressed happiness to work for the film with a college backdrop and to work in the midst of real students.
The rest of the cast includes Brahmanandam, Ahuti Prasad, Rajitha, Vinay Prasad, Ramesh Rao, Phai, Gowtham Raju, Sushma, Praveen, Chinnikrishna, and 30 new artistes. |
