On 9th February, Taj Deccan, Hyderabad served host for the audio launch function of ‘Bangaru Babu’ starring Jagapathi Babu and Meera Jasmine in the lead roles. Directed by Jonnalagadda Srinivas, K.Ramakrishna Prasad has produced it on Soubhagya Media banner which is presented by Dasari Padma. Music director MM Srilekha has composed the tunes.

Dr D Rama Naidu released the audio cassettes and presented the first one to Dasari NarayanaRao. DVS Raju launched the audio CD and presented it to VB Rajendra Prasad.

D Rama Naidu, DVS Raju, VB Rajendra Prasad, Devi Vara Prasad, R Narayana Murthy, C Kalyan, Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad, Jagapathi Babu, Shashank, Jayasudha, Murali Mohan, MM Srilekha and others graced the function.
